Hazards of Prophecy

Hazards of Prophecy, aka Dave Rendle, is a producer and selector based near London. He has been releasing music and DJing for over 20 years and is the founder of Night Sweats Music — home to his productions, cultural projects, hosted spaces and creative experiments.

In 2025, his work as Hazards of Prophecy received airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music and support from tastemakers including Gilles Peterson.

Dave travels the virtual spaceways collecting sounds from all over the map, exploring the intersections of rhythm, melody and club culture. He shares his discoveries through Night Sweats Music radio shows, DJ sets, playlists and productions.

In 2026, Dave continues to explore and evolve his sound, increasingly bringing his own voice into his music and collaborating with artists across new productions and projects.
